Our story

Our family has enjoyed visiting South Padre Island since the early 1950’s, when there was almost nothing on the island. It has always been a place for family fun and creating memories in the sand and surf. Seventy five years later, the island continues to hold a special place in our hearts, creating new memories and experiences with each visit.  

Through the years, South Padre Island has developed into a flourishing vacation destination known for its beautiful beaches, fresh seafood, and family adventures. Some of our most fond memories include visiting the Sea Turtle Conservation, horseback riding, sandcastle making classes, and watching the sunrise over the gulf. 

In 2019 we purchased the property when the area surrounding the house was only sand. We began hosting in 2022 after completing major renovations, landscaping, and installing a 30-foot pool. In 2026 we remodeled the kitchen and both bathrooms. We work restlessly to maintain a high standard of service, and a space that feels like a home away from home.
